I have started the application process for Alliance ministry, and I find myself struck (almost literally) with some of the questions they pose. Have you ever written out a biographical sketch of yourself? Try it. Put emphasis on your spiritual development.
I hardly know what to put. I've read numerous biographical sketches, mostly of historical musicians, and the thing that stands out in each sketch is that the focus is on the individual's effect on society at large. How does one answer a question like that on their own?
Even worse, after spending the time to try to put down a sketch of your own life, what do you do when you don't like the picture?
